Nomanzi Trade College Application

Please submit supporting documents that are clear enough to read and certified within the last three months.

Here are the steps to apply for your trade preparation course and test:

Complete and submit the Nomanzi Trade College online application below OR download, complete, and email your application with supporting documents to info@nomanzitradecollege.co.za for Pretoria applications or kevin@nomanzitradecollege.co.za for Cape Town applications.

Upload or email clear, certified copies of the documents required for either South African or non-South African citizens as stipulated below.

Upload or email your portfolio of evidence (POE). The POE is a service letter from your current and past employer(s) on their official letterhead. It must confirm the duration of your employment and work experience as a plumber or electrician. Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) only verifies work experience obtained in South Africa.

Also upload a short CV that includes your physical home address, the name of your high school, the year you passed, your work experience, and information about any further education.

Documents Required for Registration

South African Citizens

South African ID:
Submit one clear, certified colour copy no older than three months.

Highest academic qualification:
Submit one clear, certified copy or affidavit no older than three months of your high school certificate (indicating highest grade completed, school, and year).

A service letter:
Submit an official document confirming three years of relevant work experience within South Africa.

CV:
Submit an updated and comprehensive curriculum vitae, detailing personal information, academic qualifications, and relevant work experience.

Non-South African Citizens

Passport and Visa/work permit:
Submit one clear, certified colour copy no older than three months.

Highest academic qualification:
Submit one clear, certified copy or affidavit no older than three months of your high school certificate (indicating highest grade completed, school, and year), diploma, or university degree. We no longer require SAQA converted school certificates.

A service letter:
Submit an official document confirming three years of relevant work experience within South Africa.

CV:
Submit an updated and comprehensive curriculum vitae, detailing personal information, academic qualifications, and relevant work experience.
