Our Story
Nomanzi Trade College was initially established in 2016 in Pretoria by Isak van der Schyff, a fully qualified artisan with many years of experience in the plumbing and construction sector. His passion for skills development and training led to the registration of a full-scale electrical and plumbing trade test centre that achieved significant success in Gauteng.
Isak later partnered with Kevin Kirsten, a fully qualified artisan in Cape Town who owns and manages multiple service businesses and other training institutions, to establish the Western Cape branch of Nomanzi Trade College in 2020. Kevin has been active in artisan skills development since 2008, and Nomanzi Trade College Cape Town continues with the noble work of qualifying competent tradespeople to improve industry standards and create opportunities for those aspiring to become certified professionals.
